The Results for the 2022 Photo and Video Contest Are In!

Our annual photo and video contest has drawn to a close!

As you may have guessed, this year we decided to do something a little different for our photo contest. Not only did we ask the subscribers on our newsletter for the best photos they had of their dogs and their pet doors, but we also asked to see their best videos as well.

We were blown away by the response we got. Submissions came from all over America and beyond, featuring pet doors with incredible designs and the fun ways pets use them. We wanted to give everyone who entered a medal, but ultimately, we had to chose the top three for both categories.

The winners for both the photo and video categories were chosen by everyone here at PetDoors.com. We were looking for photos and videos that showed off not only the pet doors installed into your homes, but the pets who love them as well.

Photo Contest

3rd Place - $100

Pet Door: Pet Door Screen Conversion Kit

We love this dramatic shot of JJ, a Shih-Tzu Maltese mix, stepping through the opening created by the pet door screen conversion kit. JJ’s favorite activity so to lay in the sun on his patio, which the conversion kit gives him perfect access to.

2nd Place- $250

Pet Door: Hale Pet Door For Screens

Sox and Tank, sibling pitbull/husky mixes, look magnetic posing by their Hale Pet Door for Screen Doors. Everyone in our office loved how they seemed to be having a stare down with the same off-screen foe. Perhaps it’s a squirrel, or their owner with a throwing ball?

1st Place- $500

Pet Door: Endura Flap Thermo Panel 3e

It’s not often a photo can speak for itself, but this one of Addie seems to do just that. We love how she seems to be flying their her Endura Flap pet door. There’s no better expression of the joy and freedom a pet gets when they have a pet door to access the outdoors.

Video Contest

1st Place- $100

Pet Door: Ideal “Deluxe” Pet Door for Doors

Last but certainly not least is the winner of our video contest: Roger! This adorable video shows Roger going through his Ideal Pet Door, along with his favorite stuffed animal: a long green snake. Everyone in the office cooed over how cute Roger looked when he brought his favorite friend on a little adventure.

2nd Place- $250

Dogs: Cocoa and Timber

Pet Door: Pet Doors Guys “Through the Glass” Pet Door

Starring in this clip are the beautiful Cocoa and Timber. They love their new pet door. You can tell by the speed and confidence that they go through the pet door opening. We’re happy to know that the Pet Doors Guys “Through the Glass” Pet Door, which is an Endura Flap door installed directly into the glass pane of a sliding glass door, is a big hit for adventurous huskies.

3rd Place- $100

If you’re thinking this speedy dog looks familiar, that’s because it’s the first place winner of the photo contest. It’s incredible to see in action how fast Addie can fly through her pet door. From what we hear, Addie gets her speed from her going on 5 miles runs and mountain biking with her owner!

Congratulations to all the winners of the contest. And thank you to everyone who participated as well. We loved seeing so many happy dogs with their pet doors. If you didn’t win this year, be sure to be on the lookout for our next competition!
