The High Tech Power Pet Door Mount is a premium pet door solution that offers convenience, security, and comfort for your beloved pets. Designed for modern living, this electronic pet door is available with different locking settings and controls.
Both of these pet doors provide seamless access for your pets with their automatic, ultrasonic pet collar key-sensing technology, allowing the door to unlock and open when your pet approaches. The quiet motorized flap lifts for a seamless entry and exit experience, giving your pet access outdoors without the need for pushing or prodding.
The High Tech Power Pet Door offers increased home security with its deadbolt locking system, which activates as soon as the door is completely shut. Additionally, a 4-way locking system can be enabled for further control over your pet's access and keep out stays and other critters.
With its lightweight design, the door panel ensures safe and quiet operation, while the Automatic Safety Retract feature reopens the door if it encounters an obstruction during closure.
The settings for the Automatic Door Mount can be set and changed by the control pad at the top of the pet door. It also comes with a MS-5 collar key.
The smartphone controlled WiFi Pet Door connects to your home's wifi and can be controlled remotely with an integrated smartphone app. You can set up to 20 custom timers to regulate your pet's access and keep track of the sensor-triggered events through the app's history feature. Comes with an MS-5 collar key.
Both versions of the pet door can either be powered by electricity of battery. Connect your pet door to an outlet using the included cord, or purchase a rechargeable battery to use along with the AC adapter (which can provide backi[ power during outages).

- 3 options available for powering the power pet electronic pet door:
- Outlet: comes with a UL-approved AC adapter with 5 feet long cord. Plug the adapter into a nearby wall outlet for continuous operation. The pet door accepts the plug-in on either side.
- Outlet with back-up battery: option of purchasing a rechargeable battery for use along with your AC adapter (5' long cord). In the case of a power outage, the door will automatically switch over to door battery operation, which will run on their own power. When power is restored, the AC adapter will automatically recharge the battery.
- Fully Battery Operation: If an AC outlet isn't located nearby, you can operate the door on battery only. Please note that you will need to recharge the battery periodically. For this type of operation, the battery charger kit and spare battery is recommended.
- Since the door panel weighs less than 2 lbs. and closes smoothly by gravity (not motor), it will not cause any injury to your pet. But for your peace of mind, this pet door comes with a unique Automatic Safety Retract feature that reopens the door if it encounters an obstruction during closure.
- The collar keys can be programmed to work at a range from 1 ft to 10 ft from the door (inside and outside distance can be adjusted independently). Just push the SENSORS button then turn the RANGE knob to the desired range.

Step 1 Installation Notes
- Framing is not necessary if mounting in a door up to 2" thick.
- Your Power Pet Door comes with a pre-made outer frame that will complete the look of the door around the opening.
- Note that the pet door dimensions on the site are for the rough cut-out, not including the frame.
Step 2 Make the Rough Cutout
- Cut the hole in your door according to the diagrams.
- Install the attached inner frame.
- Install the outer frame.
Step 3 Initial Power Up
- Plug the AC adaptor into a 110 VAC wall outlet.
- Plug the adaptor cord into one of the Power Input Jacks on the inside frame.
- Press the front panel ON button to power up the door. Make sure the AC light turns on.
- Press the OPEN button and check that the dog/cat door panel opens/closes.

Warranty Type: Limited
Duration: One year from the original delivery date for all products except collar key batteries. Collar key batteries are not covered.
Coverage:
Repair or replacement for products that fail to operate within one year of the original delivery date.
Shipping of repaired or replaced products back to the customer via FedEx Ground or USPS priority mail is covered by High Tech Pet Products.
Exclusions:
Cleaning charges: Products returned dirty or with pet hair will incur a charge equal to 25% of the original purchase price.
Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective product to High Tech Pet Products.
Expedited shipping requests for replacements are at the customer's expense.
All products, including pet doors, must be returned and examined before a replacement unit is sent.

Bad collars
I love the door BUT the collars are cheap and break all the time and cost a lot to replace. I have three dogs and this is expensive. I called the company and they make me leave a message and have never returned my calls. I use to have the kind that worked the same way but with a magnet and am going back to that kind.
Awesome
SUPER awesome door, only problem is it was somewhat difficult to install, and the largest size barely fits my German Shepherd. But it is really amazing, they thought of all the features to make it successful. My first product came damaged- the box was completely destroyed by fedex, so it has been a hassle to get the new product and return my old heavy one but It is still a super cool piece.
Moderately convenient money pit
Same issues with the collars and the door malfunctioning as several others have noted. The company probably realizes they can gouge you for replacements once you commit. That said, the convenience is still mostly worth it. Just be prepared to invest about $50 pet dog after a year or so between collars, batteries, and door malfunctions.
GREAT GREAT Door. The collar and sensor could be improved.
The door itself is great! I've had mine for over 10 years with three dogs using it all the time, and it is still going strong. If I reviewed the collars separately, I'd give them a 2. Years back I would have given the collars less than 1. the older model collars would get slightly wet and than they were dead. That has improved some, but they are still flimsy. Id much prefer a sensor that I attached to my dogs regular collar. This seems like a pretty easy accessory you could develop. I recently got a standard poodle and am upgrading to the large size door because she is having a hard time squeezing through the medium size. I am scared to death of getting rid of my medium one because it has worked so great without one minutes trouble.
Good
I like that you can get a wall outlet adapter so you don't have to worry about losing battery. I got this mostly because I wanted to let my dog out but keep my cat in. The door closes a bit slow so that my cat can potentially run outside but she hasn't done that yet.
