The
PetSafe 700 Series Plastic Pet Door was originally known
as the Staywell 700 Series "Original" pet doors prior to
the PetSafe purchase of Staywell.
These are 'Standard' design,
plastic framed pet doors suitable for installation in solid core
wood framed doors or other solid materials. Installation in a
wall or hollow-core door requires that the user 'frame out' the
wall first.
PetSafe has incorporated some significant
improvements in the medium and large sizes of these dog doors
(see below). Flaps are rigid and consist of two
parts: A central flap and overlapping 'U' shaped gasket piece. The
result is an unusually tight sealing flap that is somewhat noisy in
use.
Rigid, separate locking covers
slide down from the top. These 'Original' pet doors are available in
white frame with clear flap only. |
