Standard frame color is an off-white. There are no other color choices.

Notice the famous Johnson 'two-part' flap which is intended to improve the sealing of the flap and resistance to wind. One consequence is that the larger sizes are more difficult to share with a cat. Since they are more resistant to wind, they are relatively hard to push. In the graphic at right the center part of the flap is pushed to the right and the 'U' shaped piece is pushed to the left in order to show the two parts separately. It's a bit strange at first as the flap would never move like this on its own.

The 'self-framing' adjustment range is for doors from 1 ¹/₄"-1 ³/₄" thick (most interior doors are 1³/₈"; most exterior doors are 1³/₄").

This door may be installed in a 'framed out' wall but is not recommended for a 'double flap' wall-thru.
