This same wall kit may be used to adapt the new  Ideal "Protector Series" pet door to a wall.

The Ruff Weather Wall Kit extends the self framing feature of the Ruff Weather pet door or the Protector Series pet door to accommodate 2x4 and 2x6 stud walls (4³/₄" - 5¹/₄" or 6³/₄"-7¹/₄"). 

After purchasing the wall kit here, go to "Pet Doors for Doors" to select the same size Ruff Weather Pet Door or Protector Series pet door. Note that the Protector Series is not available in the small size.
