Nearly all Ideal Panel pet doors have been made with a plastic frame
immediately surrounding the flap. Some have been made with metal frames
in this location, however, those have been discontinued.
In some instances, the pet has managed to break this
plastic frame. It isn't necessary to replace the entire panel when this
happens. Simply order the replacement flap and frame assembly to fit the
corresponding size shown above.
Caution: If you happen to have the metal frame
version, these replacements will not fit! In that case, the best
option would be to purchase the corresponding Ideal Deluxe Version Pet
Door which will fit. If you are replacing
an Ideal flap in an existing pet door or planning to replace an existing
Ideal pet door, Please see our
"Urgent Notice". These replacement flap assemblies are available for
Rectangular Logo Flaps only. If you have a Circular Logo flap, these
will not work for you. The white version
is slightly smaller than the other two colors so don't change. Keep the
same color as your original frame color or it won't fit. |
