Ideal Original pet doors are framed in white
plastic with a white plastic locking cover. The vinyl flaps are
clear allowing the pets to see when the locking cover is in place.
The 'self-framing'
adjustment range is 1 1/4"
to 1 3/4"
which covers all standard dimension interior and exterior doors. Use
shims to install in a thinner panel.
Ideal no longer offers a wall kit which will adapt their 'Original'
pet door for installation in a wall.
'Ideal' and 'Perfect' are two different trade names
for this same product.
