The
Ideal Cat Sash for Sash Window
is large enough for even big cats and small dogs and
incorporates a '4-way'
locking mechanism which means that the pet door can be
set for in only, out only, both ways or completely locked.
A very strong point for this sash window pet
doors is that the flap is made from Lexan--generic name
polycarbonate--which is very strong. The weak point in this
flap design is the "ears" that the flap swings on at the
top. Polycarbonate "ears" are much harder to break. Along
those same lines, it is wise to ensure that the top of the
pets shoulder is no higher than the top of the flap opening.
This prevents the pet pressing against these "ears".
Another nifty feature is that, because a
separate locking cover is not required, the factory can
mount the flap to the left, right or centered when inside
