•   Dual pane "Low E" glass for better insulation
   
•   New 'Ultra Flex' flap which is semi-flexible to be safe and still insulates and seals even in cold weather. Made of Lexan, it is 'chew-proof'.  As an alternative, you may choose the Hefty Kat version which includes the 4-way locking Hefty Kat cat flap in the VIP panel framing. The Hefty Kat flap is, however, rigid and less safe than the medium size.
   
•   A locking mechanism that utilizes your existing lock! (This has never been done before)
   
•   Vinyl framing that insulates better than conventional metal framing.
   
•   The VIP door installs 'semi-permanently'. However, the latches for fastening it in place are hidden inside the jamb. No visible screws and no drilling holes in any visible location.
   
•   Framing of the VIP fits 1¹/₂" to 1³/₄" thick tracks. It will straddle rails up to a maximum thickness of 3/4".
   
•   Available in an "off-white" only.

Bottom line:  If you have a vinyl framed sliding glass door, if the sizes and rise options suit your pet and if you don't mind a minor installation job then this one will look more like it 'belongs' than any other panel pet door.
